Om Sri Raja Kuberar Siddhar Peedam was established by “Thavathiru Sivasri Deva Raja Kubera Swamigal”. Thavathiru Sivasri Deva Raja Kubera Swamigal is an ardent devotee of Lord Shiva and never misses on his Girivalam on every full moon day.About eight years ago, during one of hisGirivalam, a Siddhar appeared in front of the Kuberalingam temple and blessed Thavathiru Sivasri Deva Raja Kubera Swamigal through his divine oracle stating that you would build a temple for Lord Kuberar and worship him in the name of Om Sri Raja Kuberar. Post this, every day in his dreams he received a command to build a temple for Raja Kuberar and worship him.
Swamigal built a small temple for Raja Kuberar in a small apartment in Ashok Nagar, Chennai and started to visualize constructing a temple for Om Sri Raja Kuberar. Then in the year 2019, by the grace and blessings of Siddhar’s for erecting and worshipping Om Sri Raja Kuberar in Vellagate, Kanchipuram and the place to be called as Kuberapattinam.
